Kumaran Sundaram

Kumaran Sundaram has a diverse range of work experience in the field of microelectronics. Kumaran is currently working as a Senior Research Engineer II at the Institute of Microelectronics since February 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Staff Engineer at Broadcom Inc. from August 2021 to January 2022.

From November 2019 to July 2021, Kumaran worked at GLOBALFOUNDRIES as a Member of Technical Staff. Before that, they were a Consultant at MediaTek from November 2018 to October 2019.

Kumaran also has previous experience at GLOBALFOUNDRIES, where they held the positions of Member of Technical Staff from April 2016 to September 2018, and Principal Engineer from April 2013 to April 2016.

Kumaran worked at ST-Ericsson from October 2010 to April 2013 as a LEAD Engineer - Analog/RF team IP development, leading the layout team and involved in the development of wireless IP for mobile applications.

Kumaran was a Senior Design Engineer Consultant at Flexione Pte Ltd from January 2010 to October 2010, responsible for designing reliability layout for 3DIC TSV, PDK development, and layout design for RF chips.

Kumaran also worked as a Senior Design Engineer at D'gipro Design Automation and Marketing Pvt. Ltd from February 2006 to January 2010.

Kumaran's earliest work experience was an internship at the National University of Singapore from August 2005 to February 2006.

Kumaran Sundaram completed their education in a chronological manner. In 2000, they attended Periyar University, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering. Kumaran completed their undergraduate program in 2004. Following this, they enrolled at Coventry University UK and obtained a Master's degree in VLSI between 2004 and 2006. Lastly, in 2022, Kumaran Sundaram joined the Texas McCombs School of Business for a Post Graduate Program in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning: Business Applications, which they completed in 2023.
