Javier Monroig Vives

Javier Monroig Vives is currently serving as Smart Mobility Lead at Astara since February 2023. Prior to this role, Javier worked at Nommon Solutions and Technologies from December 2019 to February 2023, where responsibilities included creation of data models, exploration of large datasets, generation of Origin-Destination matrices for transport consulting, and developing tools for public transport demand data. Javier's experience also includes roles as a Transport Consultant and Graduate Traffic Engineer at Jacobs, focusing on project financial management, transport modeling, and traffic model designs using various engineering software. Early career experience includes an engineering trainee position at Melchor Mascaró S.A., managing construction specifications for notable projects. Javier holds multiple degrees, including an MSc in Transport from Imperial College London, an MSc in Engineering from UCL, and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from U.N.E.D.
