Mary L. Howell

Mary L. Howell is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in governance and strategic leadership. Currently serving as a Member of the Board of Directors at ASTEC since 2019, Mary chairs the Nominating and Governance Committee and participates on the Compensation Committee. Since 2014, Mary has also held the position of Chairman of the Board at V2X Inc, leading the Strategy Committee for a company that provides essential support services to defense clients. Previous roles include CEO of Howell Strategy Group from 2010 to 2021, Lead Director on the Board of Directors for Esterline Technologies Corporation from 2011 to 2019, and member of the Board of Directors at FM Global from 1996 to 2011, where contributions were made to the Audit and Compensation Committees. Additionally, Mary served as Executive Vice President at Textron from 1980 to 2010. Mary holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
