Dr. Galin Michailov

Dr. Galin Michailov is an experienced executive in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as the Executive Director and Head of Market Access & Government Affairs at Astellas Pharma since December 2022. Prior to this role, Dr. Michailov held the position of Head of Market Access & Government Affairs at Astellas Pharma from January 2019 to September 2022 and served as Director of Market Access and HEOR at Amgen from January 2014 to December 2018. Previous roles include Director of Outcomes Research at MSD Sharp & Dohme GmbH from April 2008 to December 2013 and Medical/Scientific Expert at Merz Pharmaceuticals from January 2006 to March 2008. Dr. Michailov holds an MD and PhD in medicine from The University of Göttingen.
