Jordan Klaiman

Jordan Klaiman, PhD, currently serves as Project Management Partner in CGT Research at Astellas Pharma since May 2025. Prior to this role, Jordan held the position of Associate Director of Program Management at Universal Cells from January 2024 to April 2025. Jordan's experience at the University of Washington included positions as Program Manager and Project Manager in the Heart Regeneration Program and Murry Lab from October 2020 to January 2024. Additionally, Jordan worked as a Staff Scientist in the Diabetes Clinical Research Program at Benaroya Research Institute at Virginia Mason between February 2018 and July 2020. Earlier roles at the University of Washington included Senior Fellow in the Neuromuscular Research Group under Dr. Martin (Casey) Childers and a postdoctoral fellowship in the Heart and Muscle Mechanics Lab under Dr. Michael Regnier. Jordan began research at the University of Guelph as a Graduate Student Researcher in the Cardiac Protein Lab with Dr. Todd Gillis. Jordan earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Zoology/Animal Biology from the University of Guelph and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Western University.
