Kalyan Nallaparaju

Kalyan Nallaparaju is an experienced professional in the field of immunobiology and immuno-oncology with a focus on drug discovery and development. Currently serving as Associate Director at Astellas Pharma since November 2021, Nallaparaju previously held positions at EMD Serono, Inc. as Senior Scientist and Scientist, where significant contributions were made in establishing immune cell-based assays and phenotyping platforms for cancer therapies. Nallaparaju has also worked at Iovance Biotherapeutics as a Scientist, leading teams in the evaluation of immune checkpoint modulators and enhancing Tumor Infiltrating Lymphocytes (TIL). Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Immunology from the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, complemented by a Master’s degree in Biotechnology and a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology from Andhra University.
