Marloes Schaddelee

Marloes Schaddelee serves as Vice President of Corporate Strategy at Astellas Pharma since April 2016, overseeing Governance, Risk & Strategic Operations. Previous roles include Executive Director and Senior Director within the Corporate Strategy team, focusing on transformation projects aligned with the Corporate Strategy Plan 2021. Marloes has extensive experience in business development as the Director of Transaction Execution, where responsibilities included identifying opportunities and leading due diligence processes. Prior to Astellas Pharma, Marloes held positions at Astellas Pharma Europe and Yamanouchi, specializing in clinical pharmacology and pharmacokinetics. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Pharmacology from Leiden University and an MSc in Chemistry from Utrecht University.
