Nutan Prasain

Nutan Prasain has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and medical research fields, particularly within Astellas Pharma from October 2016 to July 2024, where roles included Senior Team Lead/Senior Director in R&D, Director of Research, and Associate Director of cardiovascular programs. Prior to Astellas, Nutan served as an Assistant Research Professor and Postdoctoral Fellow at Indiana University School of Medicine from January 2009 to October 2016. The foundational experience includes a role as a Graduate Student at the University of South Alabama, College of Medicine from August 2004 to December 2008. Nutan holds a PhD in Basic Medical Sciences from Whiddon College of Medicine at the University of South Alabama and a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences.
