Claire Ryan has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Claire currently holds the position of Assistant Director - Income Generation, Funding and Engagement at Aster Group UK, where they are responsible for creating sustainable revenue options and growing income generation channels. Claire previously served as the Head of Income Generation and Fundraising at Aster Group UK, leading income generation for a corporate foundation and working cohesively with core services to meet strategic objectives.

Prior to their role at Aster Group UK, Claire held the position of Head of Income Generation- Senior Leader at Jerry Green Dog Rescue, where they demonstrated expertise in account management, strategic leadership, and business development.

Claire also has experience in the charitable sector, having served as a Charity Retail Manager at Oxfam GB. Additionally, they have a background in health and social care, having worked as a Health and Social Care Practitioner for a local authority and NHS from 2002 to 2014.

Claire Ryan CMgr MCMI MCIOF obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Health and Social Care Management from the University of Hull, where they studied from 2010 to 2013. In addition to their degree, Claire has achieved several certifications throughout their career. Claire became a Member of the Chartered Institute of Fundraising (MCIOF) in March 2023, and they also obtained the STAR® Coach certification from Notion - STAR® in March 2023. Claire became a Chartered Manager Member (CMgr) through the Chartered Management Institute in August 2022. Prior to that, in June 2021, they completed the Level 7 Strategic Management and Leadership (CMi) program at the School of Business & Technology London.
