Ahmad Danesh

Ahmad Danesh has a diverse work experience spanning over 16 years in various roles. Ahmad currently holds the position of Associate VP, Product Management at Astera Labs since January 2023. Prior to this, they served as Sr. Director, Product Management at Astera Labs from March 2022 to January 2023.

Before joining Astera Labs, Ahmad worked at Microchip Technology Inc. as Sr. Manager, Product Marketing and Strategy - Data Center Solutions from February 2018 to March 2022.

Ahmad also gained valuable experience at Microsemi Corporation, where they worked as a Product Marketing Manager in the Scalable Storage Business Unit from January 2017 to January 2018. Prior to that, they held the position of Technical Lead, Applications in the same business unit from January 2016 to December 2016.

Ahmad's earlier experience includes working at PMC-Sierra as a Technical Lead, Applications in the Enterprise Storage Division from August 2014 to January 2016. Before that, they served as Staff Applications Engineer and Senior Applications Engineer in the same division from August 2013 to July 2014, and from January 2012 to July 2013, respectively. Ahmad started their career at PMC-Sierra as a Product Engineer in May 2010, working until January 2012.

Ahmad's career began at Applied Engineering Solutions, where they worked as an Electrical Engineer from June 2008 to March 2010.

Before joining Applied Engineering Solutions, they worked at PMC-Sierra as a Product Engineer from February 2006 to May 2008. Overall, Ahmad has a strong background in product management and marketing, with a focus on data center solutions and scalable storage.

Ahmad Danesh obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering from Simon Fraser University, where they studied from 2001 to 2006.
