Alex Shukhman

Alex Shukhman is an accomplished legal professional currently serving as Associate Vice President and Associate General Counsel - Corporate at Astera Labs since April 2025. Shukhman has held multiple leadership roles within the Society for Corporate Governance, including President of the Northern California, Hawaii, and Nevada Chapter since May 2021. Prior to Astera Labs, Shukhman spent five years at Intel Corporation, where as Director, Associate General Counsel, Corporate Securities and Governance, Shukhman led initiatives that achieved award-winning disclosures and aligned institutional investors with key management proposals. Shukhman's extensive experience in corporate governance, securities law, and board support spans several organizations, including Lam Research, Goodwin Procter LLP, Heller Ehrman, and the US Securities and Exchange Commission. Shukhman holds a J.D. from Loyola Law School and a B.A. in Business-Economics and Accounting from UCLA.
