Devang Thakkar

Devang Thakkar is a seasoned engineer specializing in design verification and currently serves as a Principal Engineer at Astera Labs since July 2024. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Design Verification Engineer at Ventana Micro Systems from January 2020 to July 2024, and a Senior Staff Engineer at Ampere from October 2017 to January 2020. Devang's career began at AppliedMicro as a Design Verification Engineer from May 2012 to October 2017, preceded by a similar role at Veloce Technologies from September 2010 to May 2012. Additionally, Devang contributed to the Electrical Engineering Department at USC as a grader for advanced courses in digital system design and computer systems organization. Devang holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California (2010) and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronic and Communications from Nirma University (2008).
