Mickael Laine, Ph.D. has held several roles in the field of robotics and space exploration. Mickael started as a part-time employee in rover engineering at ispace, inc. in 2016 and later became an Assistant Professor at the Space Robotics Laboratory in 2020. In the same year, they took on the role of Head of Surface Exploration & VP for Japan at Asteroid Mining Corporation Ltd. Prior to these positions, Mickael gained valuable experience through research internships and intern roles at Tohoku University.
Mickael Laine, Ph.D. earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Sorbonne Université in 2013, followed by a Master's degree in Mechatronic Engineering, Robotics, and Automation in 2015. Mickael completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Aerospace Engineering with a focus on Space Exploration Robotics at Tohoku University in 2020.
