Omri Gaster has worked in various roles since 2012. Omri began working as a Researcher at the Jerusalem Institute for Israel Studies in 2012, where they led the research and analysis part of a government plan for developing tourism in Jerusalem. In 2014, they moved to the Planning Authority of Israel as a GIS Specialist. In 2015, they worked at Gal Planning and Urban Systems as an Urban Planner & GIS Expert. In 2016, they joined Orhitec GIS as a Project Manager & GIS expert. In 2017, they began working at ASTERRA as a Product Data Analyst, where they conducted failure analysis and built customer health score, as well as established the company KPI's for CSM, marketing and sales. Omri was also ASTERRA's first R&D data analytics Team Leader, where they guided, supervised and monitored various research projects, and developed products based on satellite imagery data analysis and market needs. As an R&D data analyst, they analyzed and researched satellite imagery data, led R&D projects from gathering and managing data, performed the analysis and gained insights, led R&D field tests and wrote professional reports. In addition, they led project collaboration with the World Bank.
Omri Gaster completed a Bachelor's degree in Geography and Sociology from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem in 2011. Omri then pursued a Master's degree in Geography from the same institution, which they completed in 2014. In 2022, they obtained a Data Analyst Graduate certification from Jolt.io, specializing in data analysis.
