Lindsey Myers

Vice President, Public Health Workforce & Infrastructure at ASTHO

Lindsey Myers has a diverse work experience spanning several organizations and roles. Lindsey is currently the Vice President of Public Health Workforce & Infrastructure at the Association of State and Territorial Health Officials since February 2023. Earlier in their career, Lindsey worked at the El Paso County Department of Health and Environment as the Program Director of the Division of Health Promotion, Community Health from August 2004 to February 2008. There, they developed and coordinated multiple community health programs and supervised 10 professional program staff.

Lindsey also gained research experience as a Research Assistant and Teaching Fellow IV at Yale University from 2003 to 2004. Additionally, they worked as a Teaching Assistant I at Yale University in 2002.

Lindsey's career began with the Peace Corps, where they served as a Volunteer High School English Teacher from June 1999 to July 2001. In this role, they taught English to students, developed a self-esteem and leadership program for young women, and established a non-governmental organization.
