Tim Simpkin

Tim Simpkin is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles within the housing, private equity, and mining sectors. Currently serving as the Director at Astir Living since April 2019, Tim is dedicated to creating innovative housing solutions that prioritize community diversity and choice. Previously, Tim held the position of Partner at Greenstone Resources, specializing in private equity for the mining and metals industry. Tim's career also includes significant roles in business development at Xstrata and Xstrata Copper, as well as experience as a Project Engineer and Due Diligence professional at Hatch, and as a Mining & Metals Accountant at Ernst & Young. Tim holds a BEng in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bath, earned between 1992 and 1996.
