Mahdi Jamshid

Mahdi Jamshidinia is a seasoned professional in the field of additive manufacturing, currently serving as Senior Lead of Data Strategy and Solutions at ASTM Additive Manufacturing Center of Excellence and ASTM International since July 2019. Previous roles include Staff Engineer and Advanced Lead Engineer at GE Additive, where Mahdi focused on developing alloys for additive manufacturing, and Applications Engineer at EWI, leading multiple government and commercial projects and supervising the laser powder bed fusion (L-PBF) group. Mahdi's academic background includes a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Southern Methodist University, complemented by a Master's in Materials Science from Tarbiat Modares University and a Bachelor's degree in Materials Science from the University of Tehran.
