Dan Bergels

Dan Bergels has diverse work experience that spans over several industries. Dan began their career as a Technology Assistant at Springfield School District from June 2007 to October 2011. Dan then moved on to work as an Independent Social Media Consultant at Russo Media and Photography from November 2011 to March 2012. Following this, they joined The Salvation Army as a Communications & Special Events Coordinator, where they managed public relations initiatives and organized various fundraising events from March 2012 to February 2016. Currently, Dan is the Director of Communications at ASTM International, where they lead a team in developing strategic communications to support the organization's global standards initiatives across various industries.

Dan Bergels completed their Bachelor of Liberal Arts degree at Penn State University from 2008 to 2011. Subsequently, they pursued a Master's Degree in Political Management at The George Washington University, completing it from 2014 to 2015. Additionally, Dan obtained several certifications on topics such as time management, working remotely, editing and proofreading, impromptu speaking, and search-friendly press releases from LinkedIn in 2019.
