David Gomez Cachafeiro

David Gomez Cachafeiro is a seasoned professional in the field of battery systems and electric powertrains, currently serving as Senior Manager and Head of e-Powertrain Systems & High Voltage at Aston Martin Lagonda Ltd since June 2021. With prior experience at Jaguar Land Rover from July 2013 to June 2021, David held various leadership roles including Battery Management Systems Validation Lead and Specialist Engineer in Advanced Battery Systems, focusing on the development and validation of high voltage battery systems. Additional experience includes a product engineering role at IDNEO - FICOSA and technical support at Wanadoo. David holds an MEng in Electronic from Universitat de Barcelona, an MSc in Physics from Universidad de Salamanca, and an undergraduate degree in Circuits and Electronics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
