Julian Relton

Julian Relton is a highly experienced professional in the automotive industry, currently serving as a Senior Research and Development Engineer at Aston Martin Lagonda Ltd since March 2008. In this role, Julian specializes in supervising the development of early prototype vehicles and ensuring they meet press launch and motorshow standards, with a strong skill set in fault diagnosis related to components and processes. Prior to this position, Julian led a small team focused on building and testing prototypes, including one-off showpieces for major motorshows. Julian's career at Aston Martin began in May 1992, progressing from a Prototype & Press Garage Technician to overseeing the entire lifecycle of vehicles from initial prototype to press launch. Earlier experience includes a role as a Build Technician at Jaguarsport Limited. Julian holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Coventry University.
