Richard Carr

Richard Carr is a skilled engineer with extensive experience in control systems, robotics, and manufacturing, currently serving as the Lead Control Systems, AGV & Robotics Engineer at Aston Martin Lagonda Ltd since November 2017. Prior to this role, Richard occupied various positions within the same company, including Senior Manufacturing Engineer and Electrical maintenance technician. Richard's earlier experience at ZF Group as an Electrician involved proactive and reactive maintenance on CNC and milling machines, along with diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults. Richard began a career in electrical engineering as an apprentice at Norsk Hydro, focusing on automation and control systems while collaborating with experienced electricians. Richard holds an ONC in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Ystrad Mynach College and completed secondary education at Ysgol Gyfun Cwm Rhymni.
