Matt Dyer

Matt Dyer is a seasoned football scout and educator with extensive experience in talent identification and development. Currently serving as Senior Scout at Aston Villa Football Club since December 2023, Dyer previously held the position of Head of UK Scouting at Sport Republic from December 2022 to December 2023. Dyer's tenure at Southampton Football Club from January 2017 to December 2022 included roles as UK Scouting Coordinator, Domestic Scouting Manager, and Emerging Talent Scout. Earlier career highlights include a Senior Scout role at Tottenham Hotspur Football Club and various scouting positions at Carlisle United FC.
