Thomas Christensen

Thomas Christensen has a diverse work experience in the fields of operations, chemistry, and environmental science. Thomas started their career at AVI BioPharma as a Chemist, where they focused on the synthesis and purification of therapeutic oligonucleotides. Thomas then joined OMNI Environmental Services as an Environmental Scientist, conducting safety and emissions testing on home heating appliances and fuel products. Currently, Thomas is employed at Astoria-Pacific, Inc., where they have held various roles including Applications Chemist and Newborn Screening Manager. In these positions, they have focused on developing spectrochemical methods, improving analytical instrumentation, and managing the development and production of newborn screening devices. Since 2023, Thomas has been serving as the Director of Operations at Astoria-Pacific, Inc. Overall, Thomas Christensen brings a strong technical background and expertise in chemistry, operations management, and environmental science to their work.

Thomas Christensen attended the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point from 2000 to 2004. During this time, they studied Water Resources and Biology, focusing on Natural Resources.
