Chiew Sin Cheok

A Malaysian citizen, born in 1961, he has served as Director of the Company since April 2016. Currently he also serves as President Commissioner of PT Astra Agro Lestari Tbk and Commissioner of PT Astra Otoparts Tbk, PT Pamapersada Nusantara and PT Astra Daihatsu Motor. Previously he worked in London with Schroders and PricewaterhouseCoopers (1986-1993) and since joining Jardine Matheson in 1993 he has held various senior finance positions in Hong Kong and Singapore. He has also served as Commissioner of the Company (2007-2016) and Vice President Commissioner of PT Toyota Astra Financial Services (2017-2020). He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science, United Kingdom and Master of Management Science from Imperial College of Science and Technology, United Kingdom. He has also completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School, USA. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
