Debaprasad Barad

Debaprasad Barad has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering. Debaprasad started their career at Astra Microwave Products Ltd in 2018. At Astra Microwave, they held various roles including Deputy Manager Engineering, Engineering Team Lead - RF Antenna R&D, and Senior Engineer. In these roles, they managed R&D projects, led a team in delivering Aerospace and Defense Antenna projects, and designed various types of antennas including Phased array, low-frequency monopole, and 5G-NR antennas.

Prior to their work at Astra Microwave, Debaprasad Barad worked as a Freelance Antenna Designer at Silicon Mentor in 2018. In this role, they designed antennas based on client needs and implemented prototypes.

Debaprasad also gained teaching experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at KIIT University, Bhubaneswar from 2017 to 2018. Debaprasad Barad completed a Master of Technology (Research) degree at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) from 2021 to 2023. Prior to that, from 2011 to 2014, they attended Trident Academy of Technology in Bhubaneswar and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering (B.Tech). Before pursuing their bachelor's degree, from 2009 to 2011, Debaprasad Barad attended Uma Charan Patnaik Engineering School in Berhampur where they completed a diploma in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering.

In 2008, Debaprasad Barad pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application (PGDCA) from CIMIT. Debaprasad also attended SCTE&VT, Odisha, India from 2006 to 2008 and earned an ITI certificate in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering. Debaprasad Barad completed their 10th grade from BSE, Odisha, India in 2006, majoring in Mathematics.
