Atiya Kazi

Atiya Kazi, CAMS, is a seasoned compliance professional with extensive experience in regulatory advisory and compliance strategy. Currently serving as the Head of Compliance Strategy and Transformation at Astra Tech since November 2025, Atiya leads the creation and implementation of compliance risk mitigation strategies. Previously, as Senior Manager of Regulatory Advisory at Emirates NBD, Atiya facilitated regulatory analysis and liaised with the Central Bank of the UAE. A history of impactful roles includes tenure at PwC Middle East in the Financial Crime and Regulatory Compliance team, where Atiya managed end-to-end client engagements and developed compliance frameworks. Additionally, prior positions include Head of Compliance at FlexM, delivering robust compliance programs, and a foundation in academic instruction at SZABIST. Atiya’s career began in various financial management roles, including Treasury Manager at BAT and Management Accountant at SLB. Educationally, Atiya holds an MBA from the Lahore University of Management Sciences.
