Alan Weston is currently the Head of Launch Program at Astra, a position held since 2025. Previously, they served as the Founder and Chief Science and Strategy Advisor at LTA Research in 2024. From 2006 to 2013, Alan was the Director of Programs at NASA Ames Research Center and worked as a Consultant at ARW Research from 2013 to 2016. Earlier in their career, they spent nearly two decades at the Air Force Research Laboratory as Director, NHTF LEAP MSTI, and Technical Advisor, a role held from 1987 to 2006.
