Dan Makovec

Dan Makovec is a seasoned professional in cybersecurity and engineering, currently serving as the Lead Engineer for Astralas. Previously, Dan held the role of Lead Engineer at Versent and worked as a Specialist Master in Cybersecurity within Risk Advisory at Deloitte Australia. Dan's career began as a Security Engineer at Zimbani, which was later acquired by Deloitte, and included experience as a Senior Developer and Team Lead at Datalink Internet Systems Pty Ltd. Dan holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Computer and Information Science from the University of South Australia, earned between 1994 and 2000, and completed education at St Ignatius College from 1989 to 1993.
