Daniel Raak

Daniel Raak is an experienced Avionics Test Engineer at Astranis since February 2022. Prior to this role, Daniel worked at Northrop Grumman from August 2018 to January 2022 as an Electrical Engineer and Associate Electrical Engineer. Daniel's engineering experience also includes an internship at Ensign Power Systems Inc. in 2017 and participation in a student project focused on enhancing a custom labeling machine at Montana Tech of the University of Montana. Additionally, Daniel served as a Teaching Assistant for Circuits 1, aiding students with foundational concepts in electrical engineering. Early in their career, Daniel demonstrated leadership skills as a Shift Lead at Dairy Queen from 2015 to 2016. Daniel Raak holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Math from Montana Technological University, completed in 2018, and graduated from Berthoud High School in 2014.
