Dean Plaskon

Dean Plaskon is an accomplished RF Engineer with extensive experience in the design and testing of electrical systems for aerospace and automotive applications. Currently employed at Astranis Space Technologies since March 2023, Dean has previously contributed as a Graduate Research Assistant at Georgia Tech SSDL, leading the electric power system design for cubesat missions. Dean's internship experiences include roles as an RF Hardware Engineer Intern and RF Engineering Intern, where responsibilities included characterizing solid-state power amplifiers and improving RF board designs. In addition, Dean held leadership positions in electric drives and low voltage systems at HyTech Racing and worked on power supply design and battery testing at BAE Systems. Dean holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
