Rachel Domagalski

Rachel Domagalski is a skilled software engineer currently working at Astranis since December 2019, where responsibilities include writing software for ground radio interfaces and encrypting spacecraft communication. Previously, Rachel served as a systems engineer at Cobalt Robotics, developing data analysis pipelines and enhancing Linux OS security. Rachel's academic experience includes roles as a graduate student researcher at the University of Toronto, focusing on balloon-borne telescopes, and teaching assistant positions at both the University of Toronto and UC Berkeley, where Rachel instructed on astronomy and Python programming. Additional research experience includes positions at Berkeley Lab and UC Davis, along with a tutoring role at American River College. Rachel holds a Master’s degree in Astronomy and Astrophysics from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor's degree in Physics from UC Berkeley.
