Alberto Peralta

Alberto Peralta has extensive experience in the information technology sector, currently serving as CIO Italy and Director of Spend Transparency at AstraZeneca since December 1997, where responsibilities include overseeing IT strategy, budgets, resources, and ensuring compliance with the EFPIA spend transparency code. Previously, Alberto held the position of Information Systems Manager, directing R&D and Commercial Information Systems. Prior to AstraZeneca, Alberto was the Information System Solutions Manager at Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company, managing commercial information systems projects and budgets. Alberto's career began as an Information System Analyst for Sirti S.p.A., specializing in software implementation and analysis. Alberto holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Università degli Studi di Milano and has furthered education at SDA Bocconi and Stanford University through Coursera, complemented by a high school education in Math and Science from Kantonsschule Heerbrugg.
