Amy Thompson

Amy Thompson is a seasoned accounting professional with extensive experience in technical accounting and reporting. Currently serving as Technical Accounting Lead at AstraZeneca since May 2017, Amy has also held roles such as Balance Sheet and Cashflow Lead and Reporting Accountant. Prior to AstraZeneca, Amy worked as an Assistant Manager at Grant Thornton in both the UK and Australia, as well as an Audit Executive at Grant Thornton UK LLP, gaining expertise in external auditing for a diverse range of businesses. Amy holds a degree in Natural Sciences, specializing in Zoology, from the University of Cambridge, complemented by education at Sydenham School.
