Andy Davis

Andy Davis, FRSC, is a Senior Principal Scientist at AstraZeneca, where they lead the global ADMET predictive modeling team and work on automating predictive models through the AutoQSAR project. With a PhD in Physical Organic Chemistry from the University of Huddersfield and a BSc from Imperial College, Andy has published works receiving over 4,900 citations and has made significant contributions to the global pharmaceutical industry, including defining the leadlike hypothesis. Their leadership in mentoring scientists has resulted in numerous individuals advancing to senior positions across AstraZeneca, Pfizer, and GSK. Andy has also been a long-time scientific organizer for the RSC Medicinal Chemistry Summer School, training over 1,000 medicinal chemists.
