Jing Zhang

Jing Zhang has a diverse work experience in scientific research and academia. They started their career at The University of Sheffield as a Masters student and later worked as a Research Assistant. They then pursued a PhD at the same university before moving on to the University of Oxford, where they worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher for several years. Currently, Jing Zhang holds the position of Senior Scientist at UCB, a role they have held since April 2020. They have recently been promoted to the position of Principal Scientist, starting in July 2022.

Jing Zhang obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from The University of Sheffield, from 2008 to 2012.
