Anna Cuomo, PhD, is an Associate Principal Scientist at AstraZeneca’s Centre for Genomic Research. Currently, they are an EMBO Postdoctoral researcher at the Garvan Institute of Medical Research, working on integrative statistical models to connect DNA variants with single-cell expression profiles. Anna obtained their PhD in Statistical Genetics from the University of Cambridge and completed postdoctoral training at the Wellcome Sanger Institute. They previously contributed to the analysis of datasets from significant projects such as the Human Induced Pluripotent Stem Cells Initiative and the Human Cell Atlas.
