Annie Yang Weaver

Annie Yang Weaver is currently the Senior Director of Cell Therapy Partnerships and Strategy at AstraZeneca, a position held since September 2025. Previously, Annie served in various roles at CRISPR Therapeutics from March 2019 to September 2025, including Senior Director, Director, and Associate Director of Clinical Development, as well as Sr. Clinical Scientist. Prior to that, Annie was at CytomX Therapeutics from 2011 to 2019, where responsibilities included Clinical Scientist/Global Clinical Trial Manager and Senior Scientist in Oncology. Annie began the professional career at Genentech as a postdoctoral fellow from 2007 to 2011. Annie holds a B.A. in Biochemistry and a Ph.D. in Biological Chemistry and Molecular Pharmacology, both from Harvard University.
