Ayda Aydin

Ayda Aydin, PhD, currently serves as the Head of Operations and Chief of Staff to the SVP of Research and Early Development at AstraZeneca since September 2016, following a role as Operations Director and Chief of Staff to the Head of Biometrics. Prior experience includes leading change initiatives at Smith & Nephew and Tesco PLC, where significant process improvements and stakeholder relationships were established. As Programme Director at Worldpay, Ayda Aydin managed high-profile IT programs, while previous positions at Cambridge University Press, GlaxoSmithKline, and LloydsTSB focused on project assurance, process improvement, and quality management. Educational credentials include a PhD in Strategic Management from the University of East Anglia and an MSc in Marketing and Product Management from Cranfield University.
