Boaz Aronson

Boaz Aronson is currently the Medical Director for Oncology Early Global Development at AstraZeneca, where they focus on the development of novel therapies for cancer patients. Previously, Boaz served as the Associate Medical Director at AstraZeneca and as a Post-doctoral Associate at Weill Cornell Medicine, defining epigenetic mechanisms in iPSCs. Their clinical experience includes managing pediatric patients during a residency at Flevoziekenhuis and research fellowship at Boston Children's Hospital, where they investigated transcription factors' roles in gut epithelium cell fate. Boaz holds multiple degrees from the University of Amsterdam, including an MD and a Ph.D. in Genetics, completing their education in Medicine and Economics at the same institution.
