Cara Kearney

Cara Kearney is currently the Assistant General Counsel and Head of Legal Operations at AstraZeneca, a position held since March 2019, where responsibilities include shaping the direction and strategy of the global Legal Department. Prior to this role, Cara served as an Intellectual Property Attorney at Pepper Hamilton LLP from October 2004 to December 2012, representing clients in various aspects of trademark, copyright, and internet law. Cara holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Georgetown University Law Center and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from the University of Pennsylvania.
