Carlyn Johnston

Carlyn Johnston is the Head of Portfolio Strategy at AstraZeneca, where they oversee portfolio strategy and management for the cardiovascular, renal, and metabolic therapy area. Previously, Carlyn held various positions at AstraZeneca, including Director of Global Portfolio & Project Management and Regulatory Affairs Group Director. They also worked at ARDEA Biosciences Limited as a Regulatory Affairs Associate and in Quality Assurance. Before that, Carlyn gained experience as an Assistant to the CEO at Persimmon Scientific and completed an internship in Business Development & Finance at Servtag GmbH. Carlyn is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration in International Business at the University of San Diego and is also affiliated with WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management.
