Chenxiao Tang is an experienced clinical pharmacologist and pharmacometrician currently serving as Associate Director of Clinical Pharmacology & Pharmacometrics at AstraZeneca since August 2024. Prior to this role, Chenxiao worked as a Senior Clinical Pharmacologist at Takeda and as a Research Investigator at Bristol Myers Squibb, contributing significantly to clinical pharmacology and pharmacometrics. Earlier experiences include a summer internship in the Clinical Pharmacology Department at Vertex Pharmaceuticals, an ORISE Fellowship at the FDA focused on novel pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic indices, and various roles in pharmacy training and research at leading hospitals in Beijing. Chenxiao holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Pittsburgh.
