Chintan Parmar

Chintan Parmar is a highly experienced professional in the field of data science and machine learning, currently serving as the Director of Computational Image Bioscience at AstraZeneca since April 2024. Prior to this role, Chintan held various positions at PathAI, including Associate Director and Manager of Machine Learning R&D, and Biomedical Data Science Manager. Experience at Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research involved work as a Senior Expert in Data Science focused on oncology. Additionally, Chintan was an Assembly Fellow at Harvard University focusing on the ethics and governance of artificial intelligence, and a Postdoctoral Researcher at Harvard Medical School. Chintan earned a Ph.D. from Maastricht University, specializing in radiomics, machine learning, bioinformatics, and data science, following a Master of Technology degree from Dhirubhai Ambani University in machine intelligence and ICT.
