Chris Sherwin

Chris Sherwin is currently the Assistant General Counsel for Global Competition Law at AstraZeneca, where they lead a network of competition lawyers and paralegals to manage competition law risk and provide counsel to senior colleagues. Previously, Chris held roles as Senior Director and Senior Counsel in competition law at AstraZeneca, as well as positions at RB and Herbert Smith Freehills. They have also served as a competition law secondee for Lloyds Banking Group and The Coca-Cola Company. Chris earned a Master’s Degree in Modern Spanish Theatre from the University of Durham and is currently pursuing a PhD in Competition Law Enforcement at Durham University, following a Bachelor’s Degree in Modern Languages from the same institution.
