Christian Eisen, PhD, is the Director of Translational Science at AstraZeneca, leading initiatives in developing biomarkers and advancing precision medicine in oncology. With over a decade of clinical scientific experience focused on Oncology and Hematology, Christian launched Germany’s first CAR T therapy and has extensive experience in clinical study phases and regulatory submissions. Their previous roles include serving as a Senior Medical Advisor at Bristol Myers Squibb, where they developed medical strategies and oversaw significant clinical projects. Christian holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Oncology and Cancer Biology from Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg and has taught programming principles at Hochschule Weihenstephan-Triesdorf.
