Christopher Church

Christopher Church is an experienced professional in the field of business development and biotechnology, currently serving as the Head of Technology Search, Evaluation and Transactions in Business Development and Licensing at AstraZeneca since February 2019. With a strong background in cardiovascular, renal, and metabolism research, Christopher has progressed through various leadership roles at AstraZeneca, including Senior Director and Director positions focused on identifying external in-licensing opportunities. Prior experience includes managerial and scientific roles at MedImmune, Yale School of Medicine, and the Medical Research Council, along with a foundation in molecular biology, biochemistry, and genetics from the University of Oxford and other prestigious institutions. Christopher also holds an MBA from The Open University, enhancing expertise in business administration and management.
