Chuyu Deng

Chuyu Deng is currently the Statistical Science Associate Director at AstraZeneca, where they have contributed since 2022 and previously served as a Senior Statistician II. With a Ph.D. in Biostatistics from the University of Minnesota, Chuyu has also gained valuable experience as a biostatistics intern at Takeda, Boston Scientific, and Genentech. Earlier in their career, they worked as an undergraduate researcher at LaPlaca Neuro Lab, focusing on concussion testing, and held internships at the American Cancer Society, where they engaged in critical research. Chuyu's academic background includes a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering from Georgia Tech.
