Dan Carlin

Dan Carlin, Ph.D., is currently the Associate Director at Alexion, AstraZeneca Rare Disease, where they apply their extensive research skills in Neurology and Rare Diseases. Dan's academic journey culminated in a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from Vanderbilt University, where they also served as a Research Scientist and Ph.D. Candidate from 2005 to 2012. Following a postdoctoral position at Washington University School of Medicine, Dan became a Staff Scientist at the same institution, before transitioning to various roles in industry, including Research Scientist II positions at Alexion Pharmaceuticals. With a commitment to collaboration and innovation, Dan aims to develop novel therapeutics and diagnostics for patients in need.
