Dan Lundberg

Dan Lundberg is an Associate Principal Scientist at AstraZeneca, where they focus on advancing scientific research and innovation. They hold a Ph.D. in Applied Surface Chemistry and an M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology. Dan has a broad interest in science, with experience in surface and colloid chemistry, formulation science, and organic synthesis. They have led scientific projects and collaborated on national and international levels, authoring 32 peer-reviewed papers, three book chapters, one patent, and a dissertation titled Surface Active Betaine Esters. Prior to their current position, Dan served as a postdoctoral researcher at Emory University and the University of Coimbra, and as a Senior Scientist and Project Manager at CR Competence AB.
