Dan Mueth

Dan Mueth currently serves as Senior Director and Project Management Group Leader in Global Medical Affairs for Oncology at AstraZeneca, a position held since February 2024. Prior to this, Dan Mueth worked at BD from March 2016 to February 2023 as Global Product Development System Leader and PMO Operations, where best practices for product development were established. Previously, Dan Mueth was Senior Director and Diagnostics Development Team Leader at The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson, overseeing a $32M annual budget and more than 100 team members in oncology diagnostics. Dan Mueth also contributed as a Member of the Board of Directors and Finance Committee at the IMSA Fund for the Advancement of Education from February 2012 to May 2014, and provided consultancy services in business strategy and private equity for Medical Diagnostics and Life Sciences from November 2012 to October 2013. Educational credentials include an MBA in Strategy, Marketing, and Finance from Northwestern University and a PhD in Physics from the University of Chicago.
